Testimony

“Cara Beckett worked on set as our makeup artist for the short film “Valedictory”. She did a very good job of making wounds and scar makeup on some of the actors, including burn wounds, old and fresh stab wounds, bruises and small cuts. She also did a great job of keeping continuity between scenes. It wasn’t an easy task, as during the 6 days of the shoot our characters were involved in indoors and outdoors fights, and production would jump between scenes quite regularly. Overall, her makeup work was very impressive and reliable, better than we could have asked for. Cara was also extremely professional and reliable, she stayed patient during long hours of filming days in a cold environment and was very friendly and outgoing with the crew and cast.”

-Nicolas Potus, Lead Producer for “Valedictory”

“Cara was a pleasure to have on set, her work completed the film to a degree which was complimented again and again throughout screenings. Her work fully embodied and elevated everything I had in mind for the shoot, and her presence on set was efficient, helpful and bright. Cara offered consultations and trials for the makeup and her preparation and communication in pre-production put me fully at ease! Myself and my whole team agree that Cara is a great addition to any set and her work goes above and beyond anything we could have hoped for, for our film.”

-Kelly Stewart, Director for “The Trial of Kath”

“Cara worked as a special effects artist on our production “Freak Show” for Outbreak @ M&Ds. Cara is a true creative, not only were her looks on brief, flawless, and highly original but her speed and time management throughout the run were outstanding. She works well under pressure and constantly tries to better her work. Cara was a pleasure to work with and would be a credit to any team.”
