I am a recent graduate, awarded a Master of Arts Degree (with Distinction) for completing University College Birmingham’s 18-month course in Prosthetics for Film and Television, hoping to utilize my knowledge within the industry.

• Gender swap make-up for Mary Sunshine, wigs, hair, and make-up for Paisley Music and Operatic Society’s “Chicago”. (June 2019)

• Lead make-up artist on the short film “Valedictory”, work included stab wounds, scars, bruises, screen make-up, and continuity maintenance. (Filmed February 2020, released 2022)

• Creating accident simulation bodies, organs, etc, and scene dressing for forensic training within the West Midlands Police DVI department. (April 2023)

• Creating foam latex appliances for “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”. (August 2023)

1920s-1960s make-up specialist for PinUps Vintage Hair and Make-up Salon in Glasgow’s historic West End. The role primarily involved applying specialized make-up for weddings, parties, and photoshoots and required an advanced knowledge of historical hair and make-up trends, techniques, and fashion.

Make-up Artist and Scare Actor for M&D’s “Scotland’s Theme Park” 2021 “Anarchy” exhibit, and 2024 “Freak Show”. (September- October 2021, September- October 2024)

This role involved applying out-of-kit wounds, prosthetics, and make-up to the cast, organizing and maintaining props, acting, and customer management.

Additional Work Experience

Sales Assistant at Ann Summers Argyle Street (November 2021- June 2022)

This job required an enthusiastic disposition, dealing with rowdy customers, providing custom bra fits for clients, managing store inventory, and upselling to meet store targets. During this time, I was regularly the highest-selling salesperson in Scotland’s most profitable Ann Summers location.
